I've been having a great time creating matching
Digital Scrapbook Papers to go along with my party themes. This week on my blog I'm going to feature many of the great ways you can embellish a party with
digital scrapbook papers. First up, party hats!
There's nothing like a good old fashioned party hat to celebrate a special day! This project is very simple. All you need is some white 8.5x11 card stock (found at most office supply stores), scissors, ribbon, some digital scrapbook papers, and the printable party hat template below.

First, download/print the printable party hat template (see below). Print it on white 8.5x11 card stock as many times as you need.
Next, run the paper through your printer again, and print out with a
patterned digital scrapbook paper. For this project, I am using my patterns from my
Mad Hatter Digital Scrapbook Paper Pack.
Now cut along the lines, fold with a slight overlap and tape as a cone. Punch 2 holes on either side at the bottom and sting a ribbon through (knot on back so ribbon stays.) There you have it! Fun party hats for all.
If you are feeling creative, embellish the hats with crepe paper, pom poms, glitter, and more! Let the guests take home their hat as a memory of the fun.
