Summer is here!! This week has been a whirlwind of end of school events; "move up" to middle school ceremony for my daughter and an opera debut at the San Francisco Opera's Magic Flute to boot (not singing, but an extra... so exciting!) It's official--- it's time to celebrate!

To kick off the summer season, I've created some bright fun citrus papers for your crafting enjoyment-- Lemons, limes, oranges, chevrons and a nice cool lemonade pack of papers! I just returned from a long weekend trip to my niece's high school graduation. We are all so proud of her! For her graduation party, I made these "how to survive college" advice cards. The guests filled out the sheet and in the end we put them in a small album so she could take them off to college with pictures from her many graduation parties and events. It was very fun to see what others wrote! Some were heart-felt and deep, some a little more on the humorous side... and all were just plain great advice!

I also thought that middle school and high schoolers may benefit from the same "helpful" tips, so I created a version for each of these graduates too. If you are not having a graduation party where all will be gathered, not a problem. Just print them out and send to family and friends to fill out and mail back, so you can make sure your student has all the proper advice when they are starting in the fall!

Summer 2012 Vacation Announcement

Summer is almost here-- and it's time for some adventure! I wanted to send out an early announcement of the summer vacation plans at B.Nute productions so you can get your orders in before I leave.

Ahoy! Your Nautical Party is just around the corner, and it's time to create a delicious seaside menu for your guests to enjoy. Here's a free printable Nautical Menu Card to help you get started! Bordered with nautical flags, and a weathered appearance, this menu, set at each guests' place, or in a frame on the buffet will be a great addition to your party!

Tips for Creating and Printing Your Nautical Menu Card

If you'd like to have your menu typed on to the menu card, just follow these few steps:
1. Select link above. Go to your browsers File Menu and select "Save As". Save image to your local computer.
2. Open an image editing program, and use the type tool to add your menu items. Create one list, then copy and paste this to the other two. Now print out file, and cut cards.
3. Or, if you prefer, open a desktop publishing program, import the saved jpg, and add type on top of the menu card. Now print out file, and cut cards.
4. Another option is to first print out the menu card (blank) and cut out each card (they are 5x7 in size.) In MS Word, create a 5"x7" document. Leave a large margin around the edges as to not print on top of the nautical flag design. Type menu. Feed printed menu card through your printer and print out the MS Word document on top.
5. Lastly, a hand written menu is an easy option as well! Just select link above, print out on card stock and hand write menu!
