This quote from Martin Luther King couldn't be more "right on" for me right now. As I've been making some changes in my work over the last month, I've definitely had my doubts... Am I doing the right thing? Will this change make me happy and/or give me what I'm looking for?

I guess I just need a little faith! Change is good. Change takes time. I may not end up where I expect, but I'm sure where ever it is, it will be somewhere new, different and even better!

Here are a couple activities sure to please your Hockey fan at his or her party... a Pin the Teeth on the Hockey Player Game as well as a Hockey Player Coloring Page!

We all know hockey players have a hard time keeping there teeth... so help out our Hockey Star by "pinning" (or taping) his teeth back in. The kids will love this game, and it should provide loads of laughs as well!

Another Hockey Party game option is this Hockey Player coloring page below. Our same Hockey Star needs a little color and your party goers are the perfect fans to give it to him. Set out a table with some crayons, markers and more and let the folks have at it. This could also be a great thing to set up at the rink (if your party is at a rink), for those with tired feet or cold hands to come warm up.

Pin the Teeth on the Hockey Player Game
Print out this page below, cut out the teeth on the bottom, then hang on a wall. Put tape (double stick works great) on the back of each tooth and then blindfold your player and have him "pin" the teeth on the player. If you'd like, you can print out the drawing at 200% so it is a larger poster.

New Year & New Direction for B.Nute productions!

Happy New Year! I'm back from a wonderful holiday vacation and ready to dive into my "NEW" work. No, I'm not stopping what I've been doing this past 5 years, I'm just hoping to do MORE of it... more designs, more parties, more blogging, more fun! Let me explain...

2012 was quite a year for me at B.Nute productions. Business boomed!! (Thank you, thank you, thank you!) I've been so honored by the amazing positive feedback, compliments of my work and orders I've received. This incredible energy boost kept me going for many months of full days, late nights and long weekends... but alas, I must say, my family and personal life began to take a toll.

After much soul searching and business brainstorming this fall, I realized I was losing what I loved to do the most -- DESIGN! With proofs, everyday communications, productions, packaging, shipping and more, I had very little time to create new designs, blog fun free printables or do the things I set out to do. I realized I wanted that back... but how?

Focusing on my print on demand shop on Zazzle (and potentially other sites down the road) is my answer! The beauty of a site like Zazzle is it will get me out of the proofing/production/shipping business, and get me back to the design business! More time, more designs, more blogging and more fun! Here's how:

• No Proofing Time - Head to my shop, find a design you like, enter your party details on the right and watch the proof update on the left! No wait, and you are ready to order! (By the way, white envelopes are included in invitation orders.)
• Fast Shipping Time - I've been very impressed with Zazzles fast shipping time-- they have loads of details on their site about shipping times, so take a look.

Lake Tahoe? Yellowstone? Yosemite? Rocky Mountain National Park? The Adirondacks? If you are a fan of the Lodge Style look like I am, you'll love my new set of personalized notecards!

I can't get enough of this look. Perhaps it's because I've spent my whole life going to Lake Tahoe (including living there for 2 years, and getting married there.) Or maybe it's because I'm in awe of the "Great Lodge" style buildings, artwork and handicrafts from the early 1900's (i.e.,  The Ahwahnee or Old Faithful Inn). Either way, the textures, patterns, colors, and motifs are all so outdoorsy and grand.
