Create Your Own Front Door Collage Art to Celebrate Your Home |
Once home, my obsession continued. I decided to create a project that would celebrate my very own front door. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. It's the perfect collage to be framed and sit near
our entryway welcoming our guests. Below are the directions for how you can create one too.

1. Take Some Pictures of Your Front Door and Entryway
I took all my shots using my trusty iPhone camera. Take as many as you can so you have a few to choose from. Also, vary between distance shots and close ups. Besides a few shots of the front door and porch itself, take photos of your: house numbers, mailbox/mail slot, doorbell, wreath, doormat, foliage at the front door, porch light, and other defining elements of your entryway.
2. Use PicFrame or Other App to Create Collage
Use an app on your phone to put together your photo collage. I used an app called PicFrame. There are several others available as well.
3. Print Out Collaged Image
Save your collaged image and then print it out on 8.5"x11" white paper.*
4. Print Out "Home Sweet Home" Template Below
Print out the template below on 8.5"x11" white paper (card stock if possible).*
5. Combine Photo Collage and Template, then Frame Image
Glue or use double stick tape to put your photo collage on top of the template below. Place your 8"x10" image into a frame and put in your foyer or living room to greet guests.
*Note: For those who are digitally savvy, you can easily combine the two images (photo collage of your front door and template below) using an image editing program like Photoshop.
