Free Printable Teacher Appreciation Tags

Free Printable "Vocab" Teacher Appreciation Tags by B.Nute productions
There's no denying it... my kids have really had some wonderful teachers through the years! We are so lucky. With the end of the school year approaching, it's time to find a little something to show how much I really appreciate all that they do, day in and day!

In light of the many vocabulary and spelling tests I've helped my kids prepare for, I thought it would be fun to make some free printable tags that best define how wonderful our teachers are. The tag is designed using a weathered piece of binder paper, and a dictionary style. I strung it with some twine-- I thought it looked great with the distressed feel.

So, print out a bunch of these, and tie them to a bouquet of flowers, a gift card, or any other gift you may be giving and let your child's teach know just how much they are appreciated!

More Thanks to those Great Teachers

It's the end of the school year, and things are just plain crazy over in my world. There's end-of-the-year picnics, and school dances, a graduation, and our summer swim team is in full force (yes, and the kids aren't out of school yet.) ... but wait, ACK, there's the gift for the teachers too!

Fortunately, I've got that covered too! Here's a few of the personalized stationery designs I've been making for teachers. The Apple Tree and Apple designs seem to be quite popular... I've had many order for it... but I've also had some orders for the other designs as well. I even had a request to make one into a plaque.

I made the designs non-personalized as well. Instead of the teacher's name, I used a quote. This could also be a great plaque if that teacher has a saying he or she uses all the time!

I had a teacher in 7th grade who had a plaque above the chalkboard, next to the clock. It said, "PMA will guide your way, every day." (PMA = Positive Mental Attitude) OK, so this teacher I must admit was somewhat strange... but here it is, a mere many, MANY years later, and I still remember that quote. It's a little cheesy, but some days, I really like it. :)

Great Teacher Gift: A Bag of Energy!

This past week we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week at my daughter's school. Yes, our school was a little late in celebrating this week, due to all sorts of other activities (which I'll mention in future posts!), but still, it's a week that shouldn't be overlooked.

We all get so busy with our lives, and I am no exception here! Last year, I barely managed a thank you note it seemed.... But, this year, I realized, perhaps this is one of the weeks that I should slow down and make an effort to thank the person who's with my kid for many hours a day!!

I never seem to find the right gift at the right time-- but something must of clicked, because when I saw this gift, I had to get it for my daughter's teacher. It is the cutest lunch bag and matching coffee cup... which I know my daugther's teacher would use...

Since I was surprising her with the gift, I didn't want to fill it with a lunch, because I was sure she had already packed one for the day... so instead I filled it with all sorts of "energy" type snacks that might help her through one of those long days at school! So I wrapped up some protein bars, and dried fruit, a coffee and of course a little chocolate.

The present was VERY well received... ironically, she even mentioned her lunch bag was so old that she needed a new one. The timing couldn't of been better. With the end of school coming as well, there are still many more teacher gift ideas I'll be sharing... Let me know if you have any great ideas as well! I'd love to post them here...

btw-- this cute bag and coffee mug are made by Lady Jayne LTD.
