Ode to the Pumpkin
It's big and orange and quite a delight,
it helps on Halloween to give a big fright.
It's festive and gay in your front foyer,
and looks perfect as well in your dining room display.
It's delicious to eat in so many ways
from pie to soup to pumpkin beignets!
So here's to the pumpkin, my favorite autumn thing
