Milk and Cookies Party Games + Free Printable Game

Free Printable Milk and Cookies Party Game Pieces from B.Nute productions
The gang has arrived for your Milk and Cookies party -- now how do you entertain them? Well, some milk and cookies games, of course! Below are a bunch of game ideas including a free printable to get the party guests running around and having a ball. Before you know it, they will have worked up a great appetite for the delicious milk and cookie treats to follow!

Milk and Cookies Party Game Ideas
Cookie Hunt
This variation on an Easter egg hunt or hide and seek can be as hard or easy as you'd like, and easily tailored for the age of your party. Print out several sheets of the free printable milk and cookies below. Cut them out so they are ready to go. Now, hide the cookies around your house, yard, or party space. When the party guests arrive and have settled down, hand each of them a small basket or bag and send them on a cookie hunt.

The Milkman Relay Game
Print out several copies of the free printable milk and cookies below. Cut out the milk carton images to use for this game. Divide the guests into teams. Give each guest a location around the party space they must "deliver" their milk carton. Line the kids up, and one at a time (for each team) send them off to deliver their milk. Have the same destinations for each team, but vary the order, so each person is delivering the carton to a different location. Depending on the age of the guests, you can make the delivery destination far away or close. First team to finish delivering all their milk cartons wins.

Guess Your Cookie and Find Your Match
This game is a great way to get guests talking to each other. It is better suited for older guests (say at a Milk and Cookies Baby Shower), since each guest will need to be able to describe cookie flavors to each other without saying the name. Print out several copies of the free printable milk and cookies below. Lightly tape a cookie to the back of each guest. Once everyone has a cookie flavor, tell the crowd to mingle and ask questions to others to guess their cookie flavor. Make the rules as strict as you'd like on what types of questions you allow, but just don't let them say the name. Guests must ask questions like what ingredients may be in their cookie, or the crunchiness of their cookie, or the smell, etc. Once the guest has discovered her cookie flavor, she can take the cookie off her back.

Cookie Bakers Relay Race
Print out several copies of the free printable milk and cookies below. Print enough that there is one cookie for each guest. Divide the party guests into 2 teams. Hand the first player on each team a cookie tray. Place 2 baskets of the printed cookies at the far end of the party space. Have each guest run with the tray to the designated cookie basket, place a cookie on the tray, run back to the line and hand off the cookie tray (with the cookie[s]) to the next guest. The last guest in line should have a tray full of cookies as he/she runs. If any player drops a cookie along they way, they must stop to pick it up and put it back on the tray. First team to finish with all the cookies on the tray wins. To make this game more difficult, you can put obstacles in the way of the cookie basket. For instance, the guest may have to run around a chair, crawl under a table (with the tray!), or jump over a bag of flour. Keep in the theme and think of obstacles that might be found in a baker's kitchen.

Free Printable Karate Party Game: Karate Master Quest

Free Printable Karate Master Quest Game from B.Nute productions
All potential karate stars as well as 80's movie fans will love this free printable game to play at their Karate Party-- the Karate Master Quest game. Karate Kid fans should remember the scene when it all comes together for Daniel (the Karate Kid)-- when all the mundane choirs he's been doing for his sensei, Mr. Miyagi come together and begin to make him a true karate kid. And, yes it definitely includes favorites like "paint the fence" and "sand the floor!" Read below on how to play and get your party guests running around mastering all types of karate skills without their knowledge.

Karate Master Quest Game
How to Play
You can either do this as a relay race, or just have individuals go through the "steps" of the quest and time them or evaluate them on accuracy. Be sure to run through all the stations first, to give example of how it is done. There are 10 stations total to complete before the party guest can become a "karate master." Here is the details of each station:

Station 1: Bow
Bowing is an important ritual to karate. One must bow before entering and exiting the dojo (class room) and typically bow before their sensei (teacher) and competitor. For this station, have the guest perform a perfect bow. Remember, keep eye contact while bowing, as Mr. Miyagi teaches.
Station 2: Paint the Fence
It's all in the wrist-- be sure to demonstrate the painting up, and painting down motion that Mr. Miyagi teaches so well in Paint the Fence in Karate Kid. Have them paint a fence or wall with a paintbrush and water for 2 minutes before moving on to the next station.
Station 3: Wax On/Wax Off
Teach the kids the motions to "wax on" and "wax off" - and wax some sort of surface. Using sponges and water, have each guest wax on and wax off for 2 minutes before moving to the next station.
Station 4: Catch a Feather with Chopsticks
In the Karate Kid movies, time is spent trying to catch a fly with chopsticks (although Mr. Miyagi has yet to do it.) Instead of spending the entire party trying to catch a fly, have the player try to catch a floating feather. Drop a feather from up high and try to catch it in the chopsticks. Give the player up to 5 trys to accomplish the task before moving on to the next station.
Station 5: Sand the Floor
Daniel (the Karate Kid) is tasked with sanding all of Mr. Miyagi's deck. Teach the players the motions to sand the floor properly, then have them do it for 2 minutes before moving on to the next station.
Station 6: Count to 10 (in Japanese)
Break up the karate actions with an intellectual task, counting to 10 in Japanese. Have them read through the numbers several times, then try to repeat it from memory before moving to the next station.
Station 7: Paint the House
Painting the house is similar to painting the fence, but with a horizontal motion instead. Have players paint the house for 2 minutes before moving to the next station.
Station 8: Karate Chop a Cracker
Who doesn't want to show their karate prowess by chopping something?! Instead of going for wood, use a graham cracker for easier chopping, but just as much fun. Have each player chop one graham cracker in half before moving to the next station.
Station 9: One Minute of Silence
Before completing the quest, have each player sit in silence for one minute. You can challenge their will by trying to make them laugh, and tell them they have to stay silent! After they've completed one minute of silence, they can move to the next station.
Station 10: Do the Karate Kid Crane
An impressive move in concentration and power, have each player perform the crane pose (to the crane kick), and hold it for 1 minute. If they are so inclined, they can even try to perform the kick as well. Once you deem the move is correct, award the player with a prize for completing his/her karate master quest!

Free Printable Teddy Bear Scavenger Hunt Game

Free Printable Teddy Bear Scavenger Hunt Game from B.Nute productions
Send your party guests on a fun Teddy Bear scavenger hunt at your Teddy Bear Party/Teddy Bear Picnic with this free printable Teddy Bear Scavenger Hunt map/game.

Teddy needs to find his den, and it's each guests' job to help him. Set up a small (or large depending on age of the crowd) obstacle course/hunt in your yard, house or party space and get searching.

How to Play
Create a "course" in your yard or your house with the 7 "stops" or locations on the map. At each location, you can have the guests either do the activity or if it's a very young crowd, they can pick up a "souvenir" or trinket from each spot. Here are some ideas for each location:

  • Pick Some Berries - At this spot you can have some real or pretend berries that they can find/gather and put in a berry basket or eat!
  • Find a Picnic Basket - Once they find the picnic basket, have them look inside and pull out a trinket to show they have been at the basket-- It could be a paper napkin, or a "sandwich" or some other picnic type item.
  • Catch a Fish - You could play the old fashioned game of catching a small fish toy with a magnetic fishing pole... or just have a bucket of toy fish the children can reach into and take one.
  • Climb a Tree - Climbing a tree may not be appropriate for certain ages, but you can set up a little space the guests can "climb" on (i.e, soft pillows, a backyard play structure) to act like the tree.
  • See a Hiker - Either have a person pose as a hiker, or put a small picture of a hiker hidden somewhere where the guests have to spot.
  • Eat Some Honey - Put out a little cracker and honey for the kids to nibble on. If the guests are too young to eat honey and/or do not like it, you can put a substitute sweet or a few "honey" flavored teddy grahams to nibble on.
  • The Bear's Den - Create a nice cozy area to act as the den. Set up blankets, and pillows and fun place to tumble and play.

Now start setting up your hunt and have a beary good time!
