Free Printable Lucky to Have a Friend Like You Tags by B.Nute productions

I am so lucky to have so many wonderful friends. Friends from forever, and friends I've just met. Friends who I see all the time, and friends who I only get to see once in a blue moon. Friends who help me through life's twists and turns, and friends who love to share a good giggle and loud laugh! I truly am blessed.

In honor of friends and the St. Patrick's day 4 leaf clover, I drew a colorful printable tag. The tag is

I was recently charged with making favors for a gathering I was attending. It was for a coffee of a volunteer group I belong to. Many of the women in the group have been volunteers for a long time, and are quite close. When I happened upon this quote about friendship from A.A. Milne (or more affectionately Winnie the Pooh), I couldn't resist.

"Any day spent with you is my favorite day!" -Winnie the Pooh

It really does sum up having a wonderful friend. Spending anytime with her just puts a smile on

Yesterday I spent the morning at a wonderful Christmas boutique at Filoli, a historic country estate in the Bay Area. The old mansion was decked out in all it's holiday glory, trees festooned with feathers, glitter and ornaments; gifts and goodies strewn about waiting to be purchased. At the end of the tour,

Welcome Fall and Free Printable Fall Leaves Tags

Free Printable Fall Leaves 3"x5" Tags by B.Nute productions

I can't believe Fall will be here this weekend... or maybe I can. I just realized yesterday that it's been a month since I returned from my month-long European adventure. Sadly, it seems like it has been longer than that.

We are now fully back into the school-time routine; early wake ups, making lunches, sports practices, and homework. Although it's a bit bitter sweet to see summer disappear so quickly, there is something nice about starting to bundle up, and feel the slight chill in the air. Before I know it, the holidays will be breathing down our neck! But, in the meantime, I'll relish the small things-- the changing leaves, the possibility of rain (oh, we need it here), and maybe more movie nights indoors under the blanket.

Below are some free printable Fall Leaves tags-- perfect to tie onto a bottle of wine when you head to a friend's home for dinner, great on a present, or to use as decoration. Enjoy, and welcome Fall!

Are you already thinking of the holiday season? Be sure to check out my matching free printable invitation and party printables in this same Fall leaf theme. Just print them out and get planning.

Free Printable Art Deco Style Tags for All Occasions

Free Printable Art Deco Style Tags from B.Nute productions

I have to admit, I never thought I was a big art deco fan, but the more I think about it, the more I realize, I've loved it for quite some time. In the 1990's I lived in New York City while at graduate art school. New York City is an amazing place for art deco. My all-time favorite spot is Grand Central Station -- always busy, always bustling and filled with art deco wonder (also Beaux Arts style). Next runner up Rockefeller Center followed closely by the Chrysler building and of course, the Empire State building. All marvels to the era!

To honor more of that timeless style, I had fun creating some free printable Art Deco Tags-- each with a saying perfect for an assortment of occasions. Just print out and put on that bridal shower gift, bottle of wine your bringing to a cocktail party, or thank you present.

Fiesta Invitation Inspired by Mexican Loteria Cards Plus Free Printable

Fiesta Invitation Inspired by Mexican Loteria Cards by B.Nute productions

On one of my vacations to Mexico, I had the treat of playing loteria while lounging in the pool. It was a treat because, a) I was lounging in the pool with a cold beverage, and b) it was fun playing a game while swimming! Loteria is a Latin American game similar to bingo. An announcer names calls off a word (and/or number) and you fill the space on your card if you have it until you win. One big difference, though, is the loteria cards have images on them, not just numbers. I've always loved the look of the illustrations and drawings, and also found the objects/items on the cards to be quite curious. There are typical objects like fish, sun, and moon, but then there are others like skull, hand, and mermaid that seem like pretty unique choices. I guess this is what makes the game so cool for me!

With Cinco de Mayo around the corner, I had a fun day designing my own set of loteria cards. They turned out so colorful and festive, I thought they'd make a great invitation (see image at top). Also, I've included some below as free printables, perfect for tags for a goodie bag or strung around a bottle of tequila for your hostess gift at a fiesta! Enjoy.
